Behind the Scenes: Writing My Second Book

If you’ve been following the blog, you know that my second book, “Lessons in Lifecircle Leadership,” was released as an eBook and audiobook. Over the past few months, I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to discuss some candid, behind-the-scenes information about the book and the writing process with Amy Robbins of 93Q Street Talk and Emma Vallelunga of Syracuse Woman Magazine.

Overall, in these interviews, you’ll hear and read about what sparked the second book, the purpose I hope it will serve and the role the COVID-19 pandemic played in my writing. I encourage you to check them both out.

I always recommend starting with the first book, “Lifecircle Leadership,” if you haven’t read it. It gives a big picture view of pragmatic altruism. The second book is all about application – including reflection questions at the end of each chapter to help you think through how you can apply each chapter to your life. Both books are available on Amazon.

In closing, I also want to mention that I always enjoy conversations about the book – whether that’s an interview with the media, speaking to a book club, speaking to a group of rising leaders, or something else altogether. If you’re interested, please reach out via the contact form on the speaking page of my website.
